I'm going to be honest, there are many people that I've met that take part in some form of drug or alcohol. Along with the people that I've met, you can tell that some people are high or drunk during the school day. I don't go for that, at all. I believe that during the week, the focus should be on school work; not getting high or partying. The peer pressure aspect isn't that broad or prominent. I have been offered weed, I declined and that was that. No one was pressuring me to do it. They respected my decision.

Mild drug use of weed amoung some peers off campus, easy to avoid. No peer pressure. Berhend campus police or RA keep track of alcohol, noise level and drugs.

Drugs aren't that big at Behrend. If you wanted to find something more exotic its present, but don't expect to see vendors passing out samples between classes. Alcohol is readily available though so if your into drinking and partying, its there. Enforcement is fair, with a first infraction usually being a warning and a second infraction resulting in intervention.

Intoxication Uncommon – Very few people ever appear to be visibly intoxicated at Penn State Erie. The topic of drug use is seldom to be heard among students. On the other hand, every now and then a beer bottle may be found on a lawn somewhere.

Peer Pressure – If you find the right group of friends then you won't be associated with the drug scene.
