The computer network at Penn State Hazleton is great. The only thing is that we do not have wireless in our dorm rooms. They are starting to put it in but they have not got to our school yet. The network is very reliable and fast and our IT's are great. They are there when ever you need them. When I moved onto campus my computer was connected the same day.

The student body at Penn state is very diverse, you have all types of people who attend Penn state Hazleton. People come from all over to attend Penn State from New York to Dubai to California, so you can say its a very different atmosphere. You have your group of kids who juggle work and class at the same time, and then you have your kids who want to join every club or sport. There are many different groups at Penn State that you can adjust too but one thing that they all have in common is that they work hard and there main priority is to graduate and get a degree to further better there lives.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I would say that the Financial Aid at Penn State Hazleton is pretty good. Whenever you have a question about your tuition or financial aid they are usually always able to answer your question. The education is worth the money that I'm paying.

I am a communications and liberal arts major. Both programs a very interesting and a lot of classes are offered to suit them. The work load is fairly easy.

Our school is a smaller campus so everyone gets to know eachother better. Advisors and teachers remember my name, even the staff and everyone is very nice. I love my school

The small class room situation, helped me to excel better. The teachers are always willing to help once you ASK. A lot of teachers dont like to see there students fail so dont hesitate to ask.

Everything is right on campus and walking distance. There is a bus that travels around campus at certain times, that helps a lot.

I have had the privilege to explore the career services at Penn State Hazleton, and it is very encouraging.

I am a Biology major, and I will be a junior in fall 2013. The workload s difficult, but as long as you focus and never lose sight of your goals, it is manageable. Do not overload yourself. It will set you up for failure to try to schedule too many courses or courses that are too difficult simultaneously. Facilities such as the library and computer labs will work in your favor. Use them! Internships and job opportunities are there for those who are interested. Getting involved is the major way to find opportunities.

I have never had to transfer credits so I have no experience with that. However, I do know that Penn State is very good with transferring credits to other four year colleges. The flexibility of classes is dependent on the student and his or her major. Gen Ed classes are very flexible whereas entrace to major classes are more tight and unavoidable.

The academics at Penn State Hazleton are the best. I may be biased, but as long as you put the effort, you will be successful. I am happy with my experience.

Campus always has the best internet. Printing on campus is convenient, the networks are really never down. The librarians are always there when you need them but you will learn the hard way to respect the library rules because the librarians do not tolerate noise. I really like studying and doing work in the library I tend to get a lot accomplished and they are actually renovating the library currently.

Not exactly sure I have not needed to use these services and hopefully will not be necessary.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I say B+ because I pay everything out of pocket. I have never gotten any financial assistance and I am about to graduate from Hazleton with a Bachelors in Psychology. I pay everything on time because I always have "just enough" to get through each payment.

The class is not over yet but currently this is the grade I have. I really enjoy Advanced Abnormal Psychology with Dr. Hunter. I have been doing pretty well. There are quizzes, exams and one final paper. The class is not bad however in summer everything tends to be condensed so do not be surprised if the work load is more heavy every week. The course is 8 weeks total so this is why. I learned a lot about diagnosing patients and the extent in which symptoms a person experiences can vary.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
