The student parking lot can handle the amount of students who drive. Unlike anywhere at the main campus, parking at LV is free. You just sign a form and they hand the pass to you. Obviously, the earlier you arrive, the better spaces are available.

Penn State Lehigh Valley has a limited amount of majors, mainly because most of the students transfer to a different Penn State campus to finish their major.

Drugs scenes are rare in Penn State Lehigh Valley, it all depends on who you hang out with. just a handful of people smoke and that's all.

Health & Safety:
I've never been seriously injured but the service is always available, once I stayed up all night working on a paper and I went to the nurses office and she told me I can sleep there until my next class.

The food is very expensive, there no need for it to be that way

Not many attractive women, but they are very hard working/

There is the promanades, which is a high end strip mall, but the food is expensive.

There are options, but you still need a car to commute.

Penn State is very accepting of diversity, whether it is ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation. They offer a lot of clubs and school activities that could accent these diverse groups and make everyone feel as one. Accents to all aspects of diversity. WE ARE PENN STATE. That sums it up that no matter who you are or where you come from we are all nittany lions at heart.

Alot of school moral and constantly things are going on around campus. People are always involved in the school and making it better. Alot of things going on for being a satellite campus. Overall a good school

Variety of Places Relatively Close – The promenade shops across the street do have quite a few restaurants. There's also a McDonald's and Burger King, and Wendy's a short driving distance away if one wishes to eat something a little cheaper. Overall not bad
College Junior 2012-06-27T01:34:19Z
There Are Options – One could find housing not too far from the campus, but the prices may vary from relatively cheap to ridiculously expensive. Most places aren't a reasonable walking distance from the school so one would need to some sort of transportation
College Junior 2012-06-27T01:30:49Z
Lenient but Not Worth Trying Anything Out of the Ordinary – Since the school is small, any incidents will easily get reported to the people in charge which could result in severe punishments. For the most part, faculty mind their own business and will only intervene if someone is doing something disruptive or dangerous
College Junior 2012-06-27T01:25:37Z
This school has plenty of parking spaces available for the students since it's a commuting campus. The quality of the spot you get depends on the time you arrive, but for the most part, one can get a pretty decent spot at all times.

The Size Is an Advantage – Penn State Lehigh Valley has a variety of professors, some good, some bad. The thing that sets this school apart from others is the small classroom size. This proves to be an advantage to those who may struggle with certain material. Most professors are willing to help students after class or during office hours and will answer questions in class as well.
College Junior 2012-06-27T01:16:19Z
Mixed Bag – There are some pretty good professors who are willing to help students and are knowledgeable, but there are a few that will leave you scratching your head as to how they even got hired. Certain professors do seem to have good local connections and can help you find work and get experience if you ask them. The professors do a good job of preparing students for the more difficult subject matter in the engineering field, but that also means a heavy workload that demands a lot from the students
College Junior 2012-06-27T01:01:07Z
Not Too Shabby – The school is located very close to a shopping center, club and movie theater. Both the cities of Allentown and Bethlehem are within 10 minutes from the school though none of these cities have too much to do. Overall a solid location with some nice places to go to every once in a while
College Sophomore 2012-05-25T03:55:54Z
Basics Offered – Most of the basic courses offered for a satellite campus (obviously can transfer to main). Decent selection of evening courses, as well as online courses. Professors can be average; while some are good, others can be unengaging.
College Sophomore 2012-05-25T03:18:58Z
Enough to Suffice – The Library is decent, with enough of a selection to 'get by', although I wish they had more of a periodical section. Pretty good fitness center, for a satalite campus. Decent snack bar.

Not Thar Great – I received some financial aid but I was kind of disappointed because I moved out of my parent's house and I talked to the finanacial aid lady to see what I can do for extra help. She basically told me there was nothing I could do since I was considered a minor until I'm 24 years old -_-

Pennsylvania has only two seasons...winter and Under construction. It tends to get cold very early...so we have to be indors. Classes get canceled quite often here due to inclement weather

Only in the Winter – When it snows, the school is very thoughtful of the student's transportation issue because it is a commute-only school. Students come from various areas of the city and sometimes different cities, so classes are often cancelled if the road conditions are bad. In the other season, however, school is very rare to be cancelled.

Guys & Girls:
Loving the Racial Differences – The guys and girls at Penn State Lehigh Valley come from a variety of ethnic cultures and countries. There are Chinese, Korean, Caucasian, Italian, African American, Hispanic, Indian, Pakistani...and those are just the ones I've seen in the times I go to school. We all have different religions as well, but that doesn't play a big part in the friends we choose. I love all these cultures around me.

The Promenade Shops – The Promenade Shops are full of restaurants and stores for students to buy many things. A huge Barnes N Nobles store is there complete with a Starbucks. Another main feature is the Rave movie theater, which is one of the best movie theaters in the entire area. It is also very fun to walk around with friends and chat. It's like a mini downtown.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
