there are no dorms on Worthington Scranton campus so there is nothing to say except that they should get them cause its hard for out of state students to find a place to live during the semester
College Junior 2013-10-07T14:20:20Z
they're pretty good when it com to cleaning up or enforcing rules you know they put up signs and a majority of the students handle following the rules really well so there's never a lot of problems but you know there always going to be that one person that ruins it for the whole bunch

My parent make just a little bit to much for me to get any financial aid but they don't pay for my schooling. They financial aid offices are somewhat helpful but they don't make getting the information very easy.

There wasn't off-campus housing available until this past year. The cost to live at the housing by the campus is extremely expensive. And as far as parking goes it is first come first serve. There were times I would be driving around the parking lots for 20 minutes looking for a place.

Penn State is a very accepting place. No matter what your ethnicity or race you'll find a place to fit in. Overall though the campus is predominantly white students.

Penn State has over 160 majors, and all of them can be started at Worthington Scranton. There are a few programs that can be completed all at one college as well. The faculty is very helpful, and doesn't stress out their students too much. The facilities are top-notch, and there are plenty of scholarship/intern opportunities as well.

There are plenty of spots, but they fill up fast. You need to arrive a few minutes early, or get a spot in the back. It's best on a Monday or Friday. When the weather is bad, it can turn into a disaster, though!

The sports here are a big deal. We have won varsity championships in Track and Field, Soccer, and Basketball. We are very successful in competition with the other Penn State campuses, and local colleges as well. IM sports are a big deal here as well. PSU Scranton offers IM sports in volleyball, basketball, etc. The athletic facilities are great as well, and friendly to both athletes and non-athletes.

Penn State Worthington Scranton is located next to downtown Dunmore. There are some great restaurants there, and the scenery in fall is great. The cities of Scranton and Wilkes-Barre are minutes away, and provide great entertainment. Scranton has some great restaurants, movie theaters and malls. Wilkes-Barre has an ice hockey arena, as well.

I don't really party around campus, but there are few spots for partying. The campus is near downtown Dunmore. The best bet for a fun night would be to go to Scranton, which is less than ten minutes away. There are more spots there to have a good time.

You can alway find parking space but it expensive.
College Sophomore 2012-10-11T14:57:32Z
Since Penn State Worthington is not a place where students live and dorm there are no illegal substances on campus

There are some team sports that do pretty well such as our guy's basketball and occur teams and the girl's cross country team. There are some great varsity sports offered, but my favorite are the intramural sports offered at PSU Worthington Scranton campus. For example, flag football and intramural basketball are great ways not only to get your much needed workouts in, but it is an extremely friendly way to meet people and just have fun in a safe, welcoming environment.

Guys & Girls:
Since Penn State Worthington Scranton is somewhat of a small campus, everybody knows everybody. Which actually makes this campus that much more interesting. There are about an evenly distributed guy-to-girl ratio, and believe it or this campus is extraordinarily diverse. A lot of the students are graduates of some of the local high schools around here, yet there are some exceptions. Such as students who are from Afghanistan, Italy and other far eastern countries. In all, the students are great.

Northeast PA – Seriously, if you can't take the winter, don't go to school here. We have all four seasons, even though this past year winter seemed almost nonexistant. The campus is really easy to get around, so you don't have to worry about the weather stopping you from getting to your classes.

There Are a Few Sports – There are a couple sports with a decent gym that gets the job done. there are also events such as the flag football league, ect.

Worthington Scranton – Worthington Scranton has a nice view and is located in an area close enough to everything you will need. There is a mall, best buy, staples, walmart, target, a imax theatre all with in about 5 minutes from the parking lot, plus tons of places to grab lunch. The area around worthington fits a college student well with plenty of places to work and stay.

Group Projects :] :[ – I love all of my professors! They all try to work around their curriculum to support the other. The workload can get pretty heavy. IST is very heavy with group projects which could be really good or really bad sometimes.

Awesome Teachers – All of my professors have been absolutely amazing. Since the campus is small I guess they have more time to give you that extra help if you need it. They really try to get you to do hands-on stuff and relate it to the real world. They all know you by your first and last name which is something you dont really always get at a bigger campus

Pennstate Worthington Scranton – PSU W.S. is a very small school. There are a total of five buildings. The newest building is the business building which is a really great place to go study. It has an awesome computer lab and a few break-out rooms to meet up and do group projects. As for the area there is Scranton University and Marywood about 15 minutes away. This campus isnt acutally in Scranton but it was very close by.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
