College Prowler Take

Not many students complain about the facilities available on campus. The HUB is the epicenter of campus, with study lounges, restaurants, auditoriums, and an art gallery. The IST Building on the west side of campus is the most tech-savvy place on campus. The Smeal Trading Room in the Business Building was the first of its kind in the country and displays real-time stock information. The athletic facilities are constantly being upgraded. Medlar Field at Lubrano Park is one of the top 10 college baseball stadiums in the country, and Beaver Stadium isn’t too bad either.

The presence of construction machinery is a reflection of Penn State’s continuing efforts to expand and keep itself up-to-date with other major universities. In the midst of a rural area, the University is an island of new technology and modern resources.

The facilities are very nice. Penn State has a huge library with many quiet places to study. The student union building is very nice with many places to eat and relax. The athletic buildings and gyms are very nice for IM sports or working out. The gym gets really crowded, but it's very nice.

They are adding more organic selections to the on-campus stores, great resources in the library, and awesome gyms—although they usually pretty packed. The walkway between life science and chemistry buildings is a really cool place to hang out, and the Cybertorium is a good place to get computer work done after class.

Penn State is constantly building and renovating. Most of the facilities are in great shape, but some of the older buildings are still waiting in line for renovations. The fitness centers are all pretty nice, especially with Rec Hall.

Facilities are very nice on campus. There are tons of athletic centers with a good bit of equipment; one low price provides access for the semester. The girls that work out there are unbelievable! Computer labs are pretty well taken care of, and computers are upgraded about every two years or so. The HUB is very nice, and lots of people use it for studying, eating, and meeting with groups or friends. The HUB also has a lot of late-night activities on the weekend if drinking isn’t your forte.
