Facts

Interviews & Information Sessions

Contact the Office of Admissions. The easiest way is to log onto the Web site (www.psu.edu/dept/admissions/visits/visitu), as it provides a full University calendar and allows you to register. For help or any other information, contact the Admissions Office in 201 Shields Building at (814) 865-5471. Penn State typically does not require an interview for prospective students. A visitation will include a campus tour and group information session. After that, it is your responsibility to make contact with the departments of your choice to schedule appointments with an adviser.

Campus Tours

The Lion Scouts is a group of more than 300 volunteer students which aid the Undergraduate Admissions Office with campus tours and information sessions. These students know the campus well and are very knowledgeable tour guides. Campus visits usually consist of an hour-long information session in the Shields Building, before being led on an intimate tour through Penn State.
