I am going to school for Pharmacy Technician so the hands on learning activities are very helpful and will be useful when it is time for me to go to my externship in March. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to get the grades you want but it is worth it in the long run. I know I will be happy with my career once I am done with Pima Medical Institute. I am grateful that this school is in my city.

Enrollment is fairly easy and fast. You can begin school whenever you are ready and if some important issue comes up and you can no longer attend school for a certain amount of time they allow you to begin school where you stopped at last.
They also offer tutoring for those who feel they need it and students can always create study groups to help them study for finals.
College Senior 2013-10-12T18:36:02Z
The major difference Pima Medical Institute has is that that they focus more on helping you get to your career faster. They offer hands on learning in each different program that they offer and they are there to help you each step of the way.

It is a very small campus but they do notify us of any student activities that are going on. PMI is like a family, they like to gather all of us students together so we can participate and get to know other individuals as well as get out of our comfort zone and try something new.
College Senior 2013-10-12T18:30:41Z
Individuals from different ethnicities attend Pima Medical Institute and they are all very goal-oriented. We all want the same thing, to have a good, long-term career and to help support ourselves and our families.
College Senior 2013-10-12T18:28:18Z
The resources are easily available to all of the students who attend PMI. Printing documents is easy and they allow you to work in the computer lab until it closes which is at 5:00 p.m. every day. Also, they always have someone in there with you to assist with computer issues.

So far I haven't had to use career services. However, when I looked online for jobs that the career services offers, I found that there were a lot of different jobs to choose from. I cannot wait to utilize this information once I graduate.

So far I would say my experience is fair. Besides financial aid, this program suits me well. I am still able to work full time, have time for my family, and plan my school work all around that.

So far my experience with online classes has been so so. I expected it to be a lot differet. I thought I would be able to have a little better communication with my teachers. So far I've come to find that each teacher takes multiple days to respond to one email! The only thing that I have liked so far is that I am able to work at my own pace without feeling stressed or over whelmed by the work load.

My experience was great because I had access to some great people that were there for me when I needed them and they were very flexible.

Its a good school but sometimes its the people that you have to deal with like some teachers that can be self absorbing.

I really enjoy how friendly everyone is and how excited about helping you make your dreams a reality.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I don't feel that help with my financial aid process was very sufficient. This is my first time having to use studen loans and I am really unsure of how exactly I go about working with these loans. I feel like my financial aid advisor is not much help to me and just expects me to know what is going on.

I just recently started taking online classes. I personally think that they are great. I can work at my own pace and at any time that I want. So far my teachers have been very helpful and easy to reach if I need their help. The peer interaction is also good. The discussion boards really help with this interaction.

I was hired by my extern site so I believe that they knew I would be a good fit.

All of my classmates are professional and friendly.

PMI has been there for me during all of my degree programs. The professors will bend over backwards to make sure you are competent and confident in your endeavors.
College Senior 2013-06-08T01:39:28Z
me personally online classes really did not help me, it made me so much more stressed out and i would of rather have a teacher there to help me and teach me then rather i doing it
College Senior 2013-06-08T01:37:37Z
they have great flexibility for me because i work pretty much full time and they had different schedules and times for me to be at school and the counslers are very helpful.

although we are a good school a ot of kids dont like to interact with one another outside of the classroom.
College Senior 2013-05-24T16:27:52Z
I think it could be better. There is no smart boards, an very few online books.

The campus is very student friendly. Lots of student parking, and extreamly conveniant for both students with and without personal transpertation. For it is also conveniantly located directly infront of the city bus stop. Open student lounge and comfertable gather/studie area in the center of the campus. I look forward to being a student at pima medical institute.
