Platt College has comfortable small class sizes with experienced teachers that genuinely care about our success.

I love my school. I have learned so much in such a short amount of time. The school has provided me with incredible clinical experiences at different healthcare facilities. I can't wait to be a nurse.

There is wireless access on campus, but the computer network can be slow when many students try to log on. It is necessary to have a personal computer for this nursing program because some tests are taken online. Printing on campus is convenient and free.

The students at Platt College are all very motivated, ambitious, and understanding. We are all striving to reach the same end-goal: graduation.

This school is still in the process of establishing online classes.

It's a small school, so there are not as many resources on campus as larger schools. We have a small library, small lunch room, and a friendly student services office. Normal eating utensils are not provided. There are really no comfortable places to take a break between classes.

I rated the academic flexibility of my school as an "A" because I am able to work full-time and go to school full-time. I appreciate the variety of clinical settings that are available to us in order to gain experience. I like how the nursing program is very structured with small class sizes.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
All costs and fees are calculated upfront and are very reasonable for a private BSN program.

There are endless opportunities and resources available on campus. From the outside it might not look like much but the inside is fantastic.
College Sophomore 2013-08-27T17:40:31Z
Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus and is fast and reliable. Printing is also free!

The class size and educational opportunities provided by Platt are incredible. I am able to work full time in the health care industry and balance work with a full time school schedule. Platt also allows for me to make the most of my previous schooling history, and if there are any previous classes that I have already covered I get credit for it. Platt is fantastic! I love my school's BSN Nursing program.

So far I love the school. The class size is perfect and the teachers are awesome. The work in classes isn't too much but most definitly isnt too little. My major is Criminal Justice and the school already has my classes lined up for the major that I have planned for myself. Right now I have Introduction to Law and Colleg Math. Perfect start for the road to Criminal Justice.

I have not made it to this point yet, I am still in school so I am not looking for a job yet.

We do not have online classes at this time at Platt, we do use our computers every day, and many things are posted online, but we still go to class. Everything online is pretty easy to navigate.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The Financial Aid process is a little difficult for me right now, but it is my fault, not the schools fault. I do like this school, and I am happy that I chose it over the others I was considering, even though it is very expensive, I think it is worth the money. I feel that the education is great, the class sizes are small enough to get individual attention, and I am able to talk to my classmates.
All of these reasons make the school a great option, and the Financial Aid office is very understanding and they tell us what our options are for getting scholarships and any other financial help we can get. They are there to help whenever we need to talk to them, without appointments.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Financial Aid is pretty much non-existent when it comes to helping locate scholarships and/or grants. However they do what they can.

Professors are very involved and they all want to see every student succeed. The library staff is also helpful and knowledgeable about online resources that are available to all students.

I choose this school because of its reputation in the area. Teachers as well as admin make every attempt to meet with you and discuss anything you are unclear on.

I Have Not Yet Started Classes. I have not yet started classes, however everyone has been very helpful to get me started and enrolled. They are very enthusiastic and encouraging.

I am part of the Nursing program that in its self is very different then other programs that I looked into. Again since this is an accelerated program I wish I would have completed my general studies before I took on this program, as this in turn has given me a double work load in some cases. One great point to this program is the fact that they keep the cohorts to no more then 30 students to be sure that the students are able to get the one on one from the professor and the professors are also able to properly teach the students. It is a quality program in my eyes.
College Junior 2012-05-12T20:29:13Z
Very Informative – I am a 1st quarter student and with this I have general studies, but they also start you with the basics of the nursing profession. Due to the accelerated program it is a lot of information in a few hours, but it will get me in my new career faster and with the increase of clinical and lab training I will be advanced compared to what some other programs offer their students. Historically, graduates from the Platt Nursing program have been ahead of the curve in being able to outperform other programs.
College Junior 2012-05-12T20:19:25Z
Program Is Set for You No Flexibility – This is a very accelerated program that has been streamlines, yet very informative. The reason that I chose this program was due to it is a 35-month BSN program. I knew going in that there was not a lot of flexibility. One frustration is that due to the current accreditation's you must pass all nursing related classes with nothing less then a 75%, or you will have to take that class again and it is very expensive.
College Senior 2011-10-28T00:34:28Z
There is no computer lab. There are 2 printers and one copier in the library. Wireless access is great
College Senior 2011-10-28T00:31:34Z
Tight-Knit Community – The school is small so everyone helps each other and doesn't matter if you have 6 months left or 3 yrs left
College Senior 2011-10-28T00:26:35Z
Not Sure – I have not been at the school long enough to rate this fairly
Sorry, there are no reviews.
