The process of getting into my program was very easy going. The most important admission documents that you need are:
1. 2.50 High School GPA
2. College Entrance Examination Board or the SAT.
3. Social Security Card
4. Vaccine Document.
5. 2 photos 2 x 2
The most important thing in admission to the Psychology Program is to be brave, love to read, be strong and to value psychology as your profession.

Off-campus hosing is very nice. The pros are that, even that you are four days without your family, you have a nice and quiet place to study and have fun. The cons are that you are going to miss your family and friends because you don't see them often. The availability of the housing depends on how fast you can arrive to sign the contract. The cost is usually $700 per semester. The parking is with security gates, that it gives you a great security experience.

Ponce, PR is really awesome. Atractions are Plaza las Delicias in th city square, Plaza del Caribe and La Guancha Boardwalk with a beautiful view of the Caja de Muertos Isle at the south of Ponce. The security in Ponce is very stable with a little reports of robbery or other criminal problems. The students attitude toward Ponce is very positive and they like it.

The schools computer labs are really useful, with a really fast internet connection and WiFi access. Sometimes they are crowded but they get empty really fast too. It has different programs and application software that students can use free and with no extra charge, than the one given to us in the fee. The printers, sometimes gets busy and may be slow.

The parking is really tiny, is hard find a parking lot in the mornings. Sometimes is dangerous because the other people damage your car. The security is not the best.

Their are plenty to choose from, and they are expanding.

Not enough computer labs, there's most of the time problems with printers and some computers may have viruses.

Depending the days and hours you will find a near parking, sometimes is like overcrowded.

There many things that they have reasons to be strict but there others thatthey shouldn't.

The parking gets to crowded, there isn't enough dorms inside campus. There some well prepare profesors. There some classrooms that need some improvements and the library. The classes are cool and they have flexible schedules.

The only problem is the genre of music. For example, Reggaeton vs Rock.

A lot of junk food. They don't have cheaper prices. Sometimes they serve cold food but there a lot of options to go with friends and by self.

I don know a lot of the campus housing, but there only a few for people that comes from out of Puerto Rico and outside of Ponce. They need a lot more of campus housing for different variety of people. The budget is cheap and and you stay from Monday to Thursday except the people that originally lives outside of Puerto Rico. There a lot of parking and security. But the rule says that you have until 10:30pm to stay outside.

The fisical structure of the class room are so bad, but in the offices they help a lot, the social atmosphere are areally good always have an activity to share. Have a lot of opportunity to take an internship or just travel to europe for some credits.

To get admitted into Nursing can be a bit difficult since it is one of the most sought after departments, however, that doesn't mean that it's impossible. All you need to do is be honest and always be confident about yourself and your abilities. They have three stages in which you must pass. The first is having a good GPA (no lower than 2.50); the second is a paper with some questions that you must fill out before you are sent into the third stage, in this try to be as honest as possible. The last stage is the interview. If you have confidence in yourself and have some charism you'll do fine

Every system is different but I must say that this one was pretty good. It's always good to arrive early but even if you don't get there as early as you would like they are pretty quick at their work. Though doing things quickly doesn't mean that they won't ensure that you have every help you can get.

I'm in PUCPR, and so far I've been happy with the education that I have recieved. In the Nursing program it can be pretty competitive when it comes to getting the courses that you desire, however, the Director of the department will always find a way to get you into the course that you need. All of my prof. so far have been great and have always tried their hardest to ensure that all of their students not just pass the class but also leave with all the knowledge that they will need for their future. I expect that I won't have a lot of problems getting either a job or an internship.
College Junior 2013-04-02T01:26:04Z
I've personally haven't had the pleasure of being in a internship but from what I've seen and heard from my friends that have it has gone great for them. Applying for an internship isn't that hard and so for next year I'm planning to try them out, especially since there is a chance that they can send you to other states and different experiences. There's always a chance that you wont be picked for the internship but if you work hard and have hope you'll do fine

I'm in the Nursing program and it has been a great experience. Though some might find it a bit of a hassle but I would most definitely do it all over again. I have high hopes of getting a great job once I graduate as registered nurse or even as an anesthesiologist

Even with having payed the parking sticker, the parking lots are very small and fill up quickly.
College Student 2013-03-30T21:06:18Z
Some professors are dedicated while others are only there for the pay. They show no interest in helping the student.

Health & Safety:
The safety is okay, I've never felt insecure about waling around campus.
