Public Transportation Is Best.

Even though I do not like to ride public transportation, I have to say that it is the most effective way to get around downtown, however I choose to drive as i just don't like to be at the mercy of the Max Line where you have to fight all of the people.

A Very Diverse Campus

PSU is a very diverse campus. A day at our school and you would find people from all walks of life...all ages, races, cultures, genders, religions etc.

This is also a very diversified campus in that you will find all economic groups. Young people who enjoy dorm life to older folks who either live close by or commute, as well as folks who pay out of pocket and people who receive Federal funding for their education.

Located in the heart of beautiful downtown Portland, it's beautiful old brick buildings combined with newer additions make it a great place t get your education.

Bicycle friendly, those who prefer not to fight the parking will find Portland State University the perfect school.

Max

I commute to school and ride the MAX transportation system. Its expensive and dirty, and kind of slow. it takes me 1 hour 30 minutes to get to school, and I live about 20 minutes away w/o traffic. If I were to bring my car, however, there is little to no parking, and its also expensive.
