Don't bring a car to campus!! There aren't really any street parking spots and they're really expensive. You can park in the parking garages but that's expensive too and it's annoying to drive downtown. Campus is really well put together and you won't need a car at all honestly. Especially if you live on campus. There is the max and the streetcar and the bus, you won't need a car.

There are permits people can buy, but I stick with public transportation.

To be honest, I almost never took my car to school. It didn't seem worth it to drive there. First of all, parking permits were over $200, and all it does is LET you park in one of the 4 lots PSU offers. It does not, in any way, guarantee a spot, which fills up quickly. When I did park at school, I would have to park on the street. And since this campus is located downtown, it was very hard to find a spot, usually making me late to class! And you'd have to keep checking the meter. The rules for where you can park and for how long is not very well-known, so I even ended up with a parking ticket once. I hated driving and parking downtown!

The parking at this school is spread around on campus. We have a couple of garages, parking on the side of the road and even near a tennis court. We have meters on campus so we can buy a ticket for how many hours and slip it inside our car door. However, there are some other parking such as the garage that you can pay for a permit but it is expensive.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
