Interviews & Information Sessions

To Schedule a Group Information Session or Interview Call (609) 258-3060 on any weekday. Interviews are not a required part of the admission process, but campus visits are highly encouraged by the Admissions staff. From May through December, applicants can schedule appointments to meet with members of the Admissions staff. Such appointments may include up to six applicants. To Schedule an Alumni Interview From October through February, students who have submitted an application for admission may be contacted by a Princeton Alumni Schools Committee (ASC) member, depending upon the student’s location and the availability of a committee member in that area. Recently, over seventy percent of applicants in any given year have met with a member of the ASC. To Schedule a General Information Session Visit www.princeton.edu/main/prospective/visits/schedule for specific details of organized from September through late May. Interested students and parents are welcome to these daily information sessions, which are conducted by an admission office. The sessions run approximately an hour in length.

Campus Tours

Campus tours run daily, except University Holidays, including Labor Day Weekend. The student-led Orange Key Tours last about an hour and depart from the Welcome Desk at the Frist Campus Center. From Monday through Saturday, tours depart at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. On Sundays, tours leave at 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Call in advance of your visit to check the availability of the tour!

Overnight Visits

Princeton has an accepted students weekend each April, commonly called Pre-Frosh Weekend. Accepted students have the opportunity to sleep in a dorm room and are paired with underclassmen, so they have the chance to attend classes, eat in the dining halls, and experience residential college life. Usually, the eating clubs go off-tap for the weekend, so pre-frosh don’t get an accurate portrayal of Princeton’s social life.
