Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

There is no Greek scene at PC due to the Roman Catholic affiliation of the college, and many students like the absence of Greek life. PC students mingle freely without respect to class years or any other restricting criteria.

Unofficially, a Greek scene comparison can be drawn to several clubs on campus whose extensive interview process may feel like rushing. Following tradition, those who make the club are “initiated” with a night of silly, usually messy, fun.

Not Much Greeks

Providence College is primarily a White school without much diversity. There are not many Greek students on campus.

Providence does not have Greek...

Providence does not have Greek Life, which I think is one of the greatest aspects of the social scene. There are so many other ways to get involved and meet people on campus, and I think Greek Life would hinder this experience.
