- Gala Week is hailed as a “time for remembrance,” and includes parades, dances, and formal dinners.
- Homecoming takes place in October and features a football game.
- The IU/PU game is a chance for the Boilermakers to cheer their team onto victory against their bitter rivals and retain their hold on the Old Oaken Bucket.
- Tuesday Breakfasts are featured each fall, when the Purdue Alumni Association hosts a series of breakfasts featuring special guests from campus.

Purdue alumni are eligible for alumni e-mail, an e-mail forwarding, and the opportunity for nationwide tours and travel at a reduced rate. Alumni can also become active in one of 125 Purdue alumni clubs worldwide.
