Campus Tours

The Office of Admissions offers daily presentations about Purdue and walking tours of the campus. Located in Schleman Hall, the admissions office is open year-round on weekdays from 8 a.m.–5 p.m., Eastern Standard Time. From September 1 through May 1, the office is also open on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. To get the best feel for campus, however, it is recommended that you visit during the week. The regular admissions visit schedule is as follows: Late August through Early December Weekdays at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m. 30-minute admissions presentation and 90-minute walking tour of campus including residence hall visitations. No admissions sessions or tours will be available November 24–27. Mid-September through Early December Saturdays, 9:30 a.m. 30-minute admissions presentation and 90-minute walking tour including a residence hall visitation. Mid-December Weekdays at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Admissions presentation only Late December Admissions counselors available on a walk-in basis No information sessions or tours will be given on December 23, 24, 30, 31. Early January Weekdays at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Admissions presentation only

Overnight Visits

There are no official overnight visiting programs for Purdue, but if you know someone living in the residence halls, it’s beneficial to visit them and spend the night to get a feel of what it’s really like to live on campus.

Prospective Weekend

Fall preview days These on-campus programs for high school students consist of an information fair, meetings with academic schools, tours of the campus and residence halls, and lunch. Check with the admissions office for more information about these tours.
