The computer network at my school is great, all my electronic devices are able to connect to the Wifi fairly easy. I'm always able to submit my work electronically to my professors without any issues.

The best quality of my school in my opinion is the convenience.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I have only taken one course prior to this upcoming semester but I was very satisfied with my instructor an the course itself.

I have yet to have a online course at QVCC so this does not apply.

I am currently still enrolled in classes and I am not yet looking for a career in this field so I am not yet knowledgeable of all of their services.

There is no athletic center, the auditorium is a joke but the student learning center is very helpful, the library is stocked with all the information we need.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Have gotten financial aid since my first semester and only less when the budget was cut.

There are always computers to use and printers, that is if the middle college kids are not on FaceBook.

There are no extra activities, the clubs are a joke and the advising office is not helpful at all. I had to go to financial aid for advising help.

There's a decent sized library and a few computer labs throughout the school. For the size of the campus, there are plenty of resources available to students. There's a gallery that often has art shows, either professional or student based. It's very neat to see the work students did in art classes all semester.

Everyone is really helpful with whatever you need, and all of the teachers I've had at QVCC are really nice and knowledgeable about their topic. You can tell they want their students to succeed, and will advise them as to what to do for opportunities to succeed.

I'm not much of an online course kind of person, so the grade could be a bit biased. I don't really like not having discussions with real people. However, I am in an online class now, and it can be extremely helpful for those too busy or too far away to go to the campus for a class. Assignments tend to be due at midnight, and you'll have usually a week to do all the homework. The syllabus clearly outlines the assignments you'll have to do and what they require, and the teachers are always prompt to answer questions via e-mail, or Blackboard, our online class system. Often you will have to respond to questions on a discussion board and reply to the responses of your peers for a normal homework week.

There is a lot of diversity at this school. No one is ridiculed based on ethnicity or sexual orientation. Most people who attend QVCC also work, and teachers understand this, and are always accommodating.

Very seldom do I have a problem with the computers. Occasionally, the website will have some issues, but they are usually worked out fairly quickly, and whenever the college knows the site will be down, they post the schedules up online. The library has a lot of computers, there are always some free to use. All the computers are up to date, and there is a mix of PC and Mac computers.

Some of the higher level classes are harder to fit into a schedule, because they are offered at alternate semesters. However, there are faculty who, if you talk to them to pick out your classes, will tell you all you need to know in order to fit in all the classes you need. Everyone who works here really just wants their students to succeed, and it's obvious in everything they do.

My school is more like a community. Everybody helps each other out, and all the teachers know their subjects well and are willing to spend any time they possibly can helping the students to pass their course. There are bulletin boards up all over the school providing information on events and cool discoveries happening in the world. There is also a place for people to request rides to school or home from school, and where people who are willing to give rides can post when they are available to do so. There is a wonderful studio that always has great artwork in it, and there is a board where students and faculty alike can put whatever they'd like on it; drawings, thoughts, ideas, questions. Anything they can think of. It's a really nice environment to be in.

My class meets every Friday morning. However very little is covered in the class. This means that all the assignments are submitted online and the test are online and timed. This also means that the workload is extensive and a lot for a student to take in. It's not very comfortable for things to be that way because although I e-mail questions to the teacher I don't get a response in the time span that I need and sometimes it can result in a late assignment but it was never my fault because the teacher never answered and I still get a late assignment. It is very unfortunate.

My school is very diverse. This makes the classes interesting because it allows everyone to get a different perspective of each student whom have a different cultural background. Knowing things at a different angle helps to improve things.

I find the school great. We have a turtoring center where teachers stay after there class. I think this is a great way to get more help when you dont underunstand. My experience is so far amazing. Registration is fast. I had problems with my financial aid becuase I was late for it, but I was able to get everything done before classes begin with the help of my advisor.

In a Earlychilhood Education major my classes is what I expected to be so far. In fact all the classes I am currently taking this semester is realted to my major. Which is great because I find all my classes interesting and educational. The workload of my major here is good for me becuase it keeps me busy and learning.

My school consists of hard working students and teachers. There job is to not only educate young and adult students, but to also to show them the real world and the many challenges to come. They are here to explore new things as a college student and an educator. They are here to get an education so they can seek a better life and carrer.

The school definitely provides career opportunities to students like me. There are opportunities to give tutoring and work at the front desk. They also keep postings on a bulletin for those who are interested.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The education I am getting is worth my time because I am receiving financial aid and I am taking the courses necessary for the pre-requisites for the Radiology Technologic Program in Windham Hospital. Financial aid has definitely made it possible for me to move forward.

The reason I chose this school was because it was affordable. I am able to work my schedule and make sure that it ties into my work schedule as well. The convenience of my school is that it provides the opportunity to transfer to Eastern State University if I maintain a good and constant grade.

I have not heard much about the career services at my school. It seems as though you have to know somebody who works in that department to get an appointment, and to figure out your future. Whenever I went there, I was passed off to another person, so I have been trying to handle figuring out my career by myself for the most part, with some help from my family and close friends.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
