Ramapo College is a small campus, so students worried about traveling from place to place on campus needn’t be concerned. However, there is a shuttle bus that runs around campus at night to provide safe rides for students who have been drinking or who need a ride to other parts of campus. The shuttle begins operation at 8:15 p.m. and ends at 1:45 a.m., stopping at every residence on campus. The College runs another shuttle bus system off campus to the city, with times posted in the student center. Ramapo College is conveniently located between two train stations, the Suffern and the Ramsey Route 17 stations, both of which are a mere five-minute drive from campus. Even closer is the Mahwah Station, but each station is convenient depending on which direction the student is heading.

If at all possible, by far the most convenient way to get around at Ramapo is to have your own car on campus. Ramapo is located at the northern end of Route 202; students should make a note of which highways they are most comfortable with and plan their route of travel to and from the College accordingly.
