The study body at RCC is very down to earth and they help each others. Most everyone in my classes, including me is working a part time job just to help pay for school. We all have different things that we are juggling with but we still make time to help each other if we are needed. We all are out working hard for good jobs.

The computer labs, and tutors in the area are very easy to access. Also there are classes available to learn the technology, which is why I have been so successful in working with the technology. Also, printing at the school is very easy to, it uses a system in which you have to pay for your paper which is a little inconvenient because I am already paying to go here. But have a password to get your documents from being stolen is very useful.

Some unique things I have found while attending RCC is how down to earth the teachers and other staff are. Also, everyone is sociable and there not cliques everyone is here to further there education for a successful career.

I feel the staff really cares about each students success in the nursing program.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The Financial Aid office at RCC is great at working with every student individually to make sure all their needs are met.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Applying for FAFSA is quite easy. They will give you the tools to apply and help you apply for this grant, but as for other grants, loans, and scholarships I'm not sure that they are even aware of all the places to search for such. It's kind of like they have a wool covering their eyes and have tunnel vision for just FAFSA.

I have not spoken with anyone, yet, in the Career Services department. Although I haven't I do plan on getting in contact with someone once I get closer to finishing my degree.

I feel that the teachers at RCC are beyond exceptional. The curriculum offered for the RN program seems fair.

Computer network at RCC is great! I love the the wireless access. It's very simple to connect to. Although in some of the buildings, the strength is very poor and you cannot connect, so it would be nice to expand the signal to those buildings and make it easier for us to connect!

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I think the education I'm receiving is well worth the cost. Credit hour rate at RCC is much cheaper that other community colleges I have attended in the past. As far as fees, I wish that they would make a better effort to inform you of these upfront instead of having to wait until you register for your classes. The fees can throw your whole estimate for the semester off, resulting in unexpected expense.

There are so many resources available on campus, there is no way you can really get bored if you are there for an extended amount of time. The library and computer lab are really nice. The coffee shop is a pretty cool little place to grab a smoothie or quick pick me up coffee between classes. The cafeteria is also fairly nice with a good selection of food to choose from. As far as campus activities, I'm not familiar with any myself, but have heard a lot of good things about them. I know they put on a student fair type of thing once or twice a year with free food, games, and entertainment.

This is the 3rd community college I have attended and by far the best out of all of them. The teachers seem to really care about their students. The facilities although old, are still very nice. The technology used in the classrooms to teach is all up to date and makes lectures easier to bare. The tutoring program at RCC is amazing and very beneficial to its students. RCC offers so many opportunities to its students, and so many resources which really help set it apart from many of the other community colleges.

I was a little nervous about taking online courses, but it was pretty easy once I got used to it. Plus, it was nice not worrying about commuting, especially in the winter! I would say the workload is fair and as long as you do it i think you'll do ok.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The tution at Randolph is decent, right now it is $69.00 per credit hour. I was not elgible for any grants only loans so I chose not to accept them since I already have them from my previous school. Right now I am paying out of pocket for tuition and books. Since I did not receive any aid I would not know how they are with the disbursement of aid.

My major is Nursing although it is very difficult and time consuming it will be wortjh it in the future. My academic experience this far has been very pleasant. All of the professors are very interactive in the learning experience. I have not met a professor yet that was not available when I needed them. They are always open to office hours and assisting in any way possible.

My school has a foundation program that provides money for students who are not able to pay for college. Many students don't qualify for financial aid yet they can't afford to pay for school. The foundation finds money that may be available to students in situations such as these. They also have an emergency fund that is used to help students who experience drastic events so that they will not have to drop out of school due to the inability to apply.

My school is very diverse and includes people of all different backgrounds. My school is small and consists wroking class people. I also find that in many of my classes the students tend to be older and are either returning to school or attending college for the first time in their lives. I really admire those that return to school after several years to ensure that they can provide a better life for themselves as well as their families.

It is like any other classroom with lectures amd videos on learning.

I think the resources are pretty fantastic. Every year there are plenty of activities for the students which makes up feel appreciated and gives the student body a sense of community. There are plenty of clubs and activities to participate it.

I have found that network problems do come up but not as often that it is so detrimental to the students and/or teachers. The network speed is usually very fast and most of the time reliable.

The staff at RCC have always been more than willing to help me and any other student. They focus on you personally, and want to help you succeed. Because the campus is rather small compared to a university, the help you get is much more personalized. The campus is always get very clean and has very beautiful landscape work.

I have not had any problems finding things I need around the school.

The photography program is very intense. It is a well respected school and photography students have no problem finding employment after graduation.
College Senior 2012-10-25T22:03:01Z
The photography program at Randolph Community College is often described as a "four year program" squeezed into two years. It is very intense but very worth it.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
