You can take online classes or on campus. You can even take a mix of the two.

I think the career service does a great job helping you with your resume, looking for a job in your field, internships/ externships, and checking in on you after your starting you career.

Rasmussen offers classes both online and in the classroom. When the class is online you make time and usually the professor tells you when they are available. Sometimes the classroom tends to be more ridged due to limited rooms and availability. The student advisers are awesome about working across the different class locations and finding the right fit for the student.

The college is very flexible. In fact, I have finished most of my major classes first so now I am left with primarily my gened classes.
College Junior 2013-08-31T23:53:25Z
The schedule is a bit hectic. These classes are fast tracked and there is a lot of information to cover in a very short 11 week quarter. It is sometimes difficult to find ways to remember all the information and properly prepare for final exams. I spend as much time on school work as I do at my full-time job.

I take all my classes online. I have never experienced any downtime or been denied access to my classes. School resources are plentiful and are available to all students regardless if attending online classes, campus classes, or a mixture of both. The library resources are wonderful with access to hundreds of databases.

The library and academic center are wonderful. They have very knowledgeable and patient. They will set aside time and have ways to engage you and aid you in everything for research to time management. The acdemic center is always having classes on help topics such as stress management, time management, APA, and they have set days for helps in english, math and other core classes.

I actually used an outside source for seeking career related work while still in classes. In paticular I was uncomfortable with the manager she seemed pre-ocupied which may be true. I wanted her to review my resume and she pointed out that it was quite flawed. I left just as disapointed as when I went in she perty much left me alone to change the content and then she would review it again. I needed help drafting the resume and the aid was not there to the extent I would have enjoyed but this may be an isolated case and she may have had a heavy work load at the time. Perhaps I had some preconceived judgments on my part as well which soured the engagement. So that is why I gave the A- I know they have a good record fo working with graduating students and well I havent graduated yet so we will see what happens in the future.

It all depends on you, the business course is wonderful but you can get bogged down with the workload if you are not carful. You have to manage you life and make the time for your academics. Rasmussen may cause you to have to chose from personal life and academic life at times but the payoff is great when you chose academics. A student really needs to engage the material reading for the course to do the assignments and pertisipate in the decisions. More Could be done to notify students concerning internships, but as for job opportunities outside of Rasmussen organizations recgonize the instution which helps open doors.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
