My academic advisor, Amanda has been extremely helpful every step of the way. She seemed to truly help guide me with making the right choices for myself. She didn't seem that she just wanted to get another butt in a chair.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The financial aid office was extremely helpful. I recently went through a divorce and she helped me reapply with the separated income. As I went through the FAFSA myself, it was practically impossible to do that.

At this point in time, I am not to sure how the post-grad services are. They have been explained at orientation but you truly don't know how good the help will be until you are utilizing it.

The student lounge at Rasmussen is phenomenal. I will be taking my classes online, but I can go the school whenever I need to.

I am extremely satisfied with the classes offered for my program. They will be extremely helpful to me getting a job in my degree when I graduate. I even asked other HR professionals about the courses before I even applied to the school and they agreed they offered a great mixture for a curriculum in HR.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Rasmussen offers grants for employees of Partnership companies towards your final semester of classes. The offer classes similar to other online classes at a fraction of the cost. They really try to make getting your degree affordable. Helpful and friendly staff!

I have not graduated yet so I haven't had to use them yet, but they are just a phone call away and will help with whatever you need.

I am a health information technician major. So far all my classes completely relate to my degree. Teachers are there to help when you need it.

The campus is pretty new, so it has what it needs. The great thing is the Mac or Media Lab, it's filled with 27" iMacs. So all of the creative work that you need to do can pretty much be done from there. The library is really nice, and has really good resources available for the course studies. Was never able to do the campus activities because of working a really weird shift, so I can't specifically say, but I know there are a good amount.

Probably the most challenging aspect with some of the classes was the learning curve of using the Adobe Creative Suite CS5 & 6, and 3D Studio Max. There could have been more class time in the teaching of the software being used, which would've made it possible to then learn more. Fortunately there are tools online that can be really helpful to fill in the gaps.

Most of my classes of late have been online, however, overall I would say that there is a pretty good mix of diversity in regards to what was listed in this question. Additionally there could probably be more older students, but with many of the classes being online, unless someone specifically expresses their age or demographic it can be difficult to gauge. For the most part everyone has been pretty easy to get along with regardless of their diversity, which seems to be the more important aspect to consider. What we were brought into the world with and our experiences we may not have that much control over, but how we use it is something we do have control over, and from the interactions in the classes it seems pretty well rounded.

Course content is relevant to the subject and access to school library and databases allow for additional research. The online environment allows the student to work around family and employment. Deadlines are reasonable and with some courses the weekly assignments lead to the completion of the final project. Instructors are friendly and available when needed.A student does not have to tech savvy with having access to school's tech support if there are any issues. The staff are very supportive and want you to succeed and are available for a student when needed.
