A few notes about parking at Reed: Parking is free, plentiful, and rarely a concern for students. If you believe that your college decision hinges on parking, then read on. If not, then reread the first sentence.

Most students find Reed parking rarely frustrating and ever bountiful. Like the Thanksgiving cornucopia, Reed's parking lots provide a smörgåsbord, with inviting spots for the cars of all Reed students and employees. Every student has only occasionally had trouble finding a parking spot on campus. Sometimes, they have had to park across the street in the residential zone, but that doesn't pose a problem since the city does not restrict those spots from Reedies. Furthermore, unlike some other colleges and universities, Reed freshmen can bring their cars and park on campus.
