Most of my teachers are very involved an helpful with the exception of one. All in all my academic experience has been very nice and worth the money.

I'm still deciding and Rend Lake is very good about letting you know which Generals to get out of the way. The teachers are very nice an the Advisors are helpful.

There is a huge variety of people in my school. I enjoy the diversity.

The learning resource center is quite helpful. Tutoring is available to all students.

Sometimes the instructors have a difficult time accessing blackboard.

I'm an occupational therapist assistant major, and my classes are extremely challenging which I love a challenge. I have been taking several electives, but all will help with something and will apply even though they are not required for my degree. I have taken one easier class because I work part-time and am a student athlete. I have also taken a couple classes that others would not even consider when taking a class for fun! Just like any other job in the medical field, a person must be dedicated to wanting to put forth their best in their academic work.

The campus was small and the teachers did not seem to be very focused.

The facilities on campus are wonderful. We have a gym, an aquatic center, a student center, a library, a north and south oasis where students can go to study or mingle, a baseball field, and a frisbee golf course. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I love that this school offers us such great facilities to use as we please.

Most of the students here at Rend Lake College are kind, smart, hard-working students. I've really enjoyed my classmates thus far. There have been a few students that I didn't like because they were loud and distracting during class time, but for the most part I've had wonderful classmates. They're very creative, intelligent, and happy-go-lucky. It's been a pleasure to be here.

I haven't yet graduated and gone on to find a job. But I know a few of my friends have great jobs after leaving Rend Lake College. I hope to have the same luck.

The instructors that I have had have been very involved with the students and want us to succeed. I have only had one teacher who acted like she didn't care. But, I've learned that not all teachers are the same and even though they may not act like it, they still want the best for you.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I have had quite a few issues with the financial aid office. The student workers can be very rude, and that tends to be very irritating.

I love my classes. This is my second year in the LPN program, but this year I am much more motivated and I know what to expect. My teachers are great. They are very knowledgeable and try to explain the information to the best of their ability. Sometimes, the studying can be overwhelming, but what else can you expect with a nursing major?

Rend Lake College uses an amazing website allowing students to get in contact with administration and counselors at any time. Being able to e-mail and text someone questions is a great resource.

Taking the dual credit classes are an amazing privilege and I am blessed to be able to have the option. The teachers understand that I am still enrolled in high school and are very easy going when it comes to when work is scheduled.

Currently being enrolled in high school and college at the same time I have already received a great deal of help from alumni and other services to help me reach my goal after my schooling. Knowing my services are going above and beyond is very pleasing. Still being in high school has its disadvantages but our post-grad services are extremely helpful.

I am going for radiolgy program, and it is a challenge.I thought it would be easier than what it is. Entering college I have had most of my generals done so I have not been having too many classes, but the ones I have are challenging. I have some electives that I do not need for my major, but it is nice to have a little break. I love all of my classes. They are so much fun.

All of my teachers that I have are all great. They participate with each and everyone one of us. They answer all the questions we have, and understand all of us. It is great being in a community college because I get this realationship with all my teachers that I normally would not have. It is a great feeling to know if I have a problem with my assignment or if I do not understand any of the lesson that day that i know my teacher's will always be there to help me with my needs. I am thankful for this oppurtunity.

Hard, Yet Manageable – Some classes were not how I expected, yet others I ended up liking. I might choose my school again in the future for the cheap tuition, the ease of being near home and the one-on-one help you can get from instructors.

Convenient When Needed – Of course, my school doesn't always have what I want, yet it has what I need. I have almost always managed to make a flexible schedule each semester I have went here. The only frustrations I have had with is the attendance, science classes, and the amount of assignments we have had to do. Other than that, it seems that I should move on to my university without any trouble and be closer to my degree.
