The students at school are mainly focused on school, not the partying aspect.

The financial aid process took a long time, and was not complete until about a month before class started. Still looking for more scholarships to help aid my education.

The baseball team and the basketball team are pretty good. The only downfall of the school is that there is no football team.

The campus dining is the hospital cafeteria. As a student you receive a sizable discount. There are many healthy choices and the vending machines are open 24 hours for those that need it for overnight stays on campus.

This program is very demanding but so is the career that I will have. The work that is required of you in this program adequately prepares you for the licensing exam that you will take upon completion of your degree. The preparation that is necessary requires dedication and hard work. Without these you will not succeed. The faculty is extremely helpful and committed to your success.

Being a nursing major specializing in gerontology there are unique experiences to be acquired at the many clinical site options Resurrection University offers. The wide range of nursing fields that our professors are involved in is also an asset to our education. The new simulation labs are amazing and extremely beneficial to our learning the proper assessment techniques and necessary procedures.

The academic standards of Resurrection University are very high. This is to be expected as they are teaching future nursing professionals. There are strict university guidelines for continuing on to the each 8 week semester. The program moves fast and those that cannot meet the tough standards are not allowed to continue on. I respect the classroom ethics of all the professors as they are nurse educators as well as work in the field of nursing. The material taught is vital to the field we are entering.

There is no athletic department at Resurrection University. I do believe there should be. The amount of stress that is induced because of the intensity of this program is overwhelming. If an athletic program existed it would be beneficial in the overall wellness of students enrolled at Resurrection University.

The program is accelerated, either 4 or 5 semesters back to back. It is challenging. An evening/weekend is offered for working adults.

Very Easy – Usually filling out FAFSA is enough, the financial aid office will contact you if there is any information missing but the process is fairly easy. There are various types of scholarships offered but are usually based on financial need.

Buses Are Best Option – Public transportation in good around the campus. Classrooms are all in the same building so there really is no problem with long-distance transportation.

Guys & Girls:
Studious People – A lot of the people here are a little older, dress nicely and are ready to learn. No big party-ers or people that just slide by. Everyone is organized and motivated to succeed.

My financial aid process has been horrible. At my other school, Ball State University, they made is very easy and stress-free to go to school. I didn't have to worry about trying to find loans and money outside of school. They offered me everything I needed to pay all of the tuition and I had some money left over for books and housing. At this new school, West Suburban, I have been offered nothing. I have only been offered a little amount from FAFSA and it is not even close to covering all my expenses. Now I am trying to get loans from banks and it is impossible becauase I do not have a cosigner. This is a very awful process and this is why I really believe I deserve this scholarship.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
