Students Are Most Likely to Get Caught...
  • Drinking in dry campus housing
  • Smoking weed
  • Underage drinking
  • Vandalizing property

Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

The campus police are strict about some things and more lax about others, and it is especially dependent on which officer you run into. Usually, if a student is caught drinking or doing drugs on campus, they’re given one more shot. In severe cases, campus officers have been more concerned for the student’s well-being than in discipline. However, these cases will probably still be brought to a disciplinary board and decided accordingly. The penalty is usually being kicked out of housing, but the administration has been known to expel some students.

The school is also known for its strictness when it comes to academic dishonesty or cheating. Students risk penalties from the professor that catches them and a ruling made by the Academic Standing Committee, which, depending on the seriousness of the offense, can result in expulsion. What campus police are extremely strict about is getting everyone out of studio after the buildings close and making sure that the monitored shops are closed at the appropriate times. This is an understandably important task because a sleepy student operating a table saw is clearly not safe, and it is the school’s concern to be somewhat responsible for inhibiting tired students when operating dangerous machinery. This policy has been debated feverishly for several years. Students want 24-hour access, while the school wants to save on resources and encourage students to sleep. Until the school caves to this demand, campus police will be patrolling, yelling at kids to get out, and locking doors. Overall, students find campus strictness to be fairly lax and not something they are too concerned with.

Best and Safest Campus You Can Ever Find

the social security office is right on the first floor of the campus. There are emergency bottoms all over the campus. After 12am, there are school shuttles that will pick you up no matter where you are. Seriously, this is the best campus in the country!
