When assessing their college experience, most students feel that Rhodes is the right place for them and wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. The incredible academics, boundless opportunities, and one-of-a-kind atmosphere make it hard to be disappointed. At Rhodes, students are constantly challenged to reach their potential, explore their interests, and take advantage of their talent. In the beginning, it’s sometimes difficult for students to take all of this in. Students who are unhappy at Rhodes and decide to transfer often don’t find their niche right away. They get frustrated with the hefty workload or unnerved by other students’ unbridled ambition, and ultimately decide to leave. The best things about Rhodes are discovered after spending time as a student, as a leader, as a teacher, and realizing who you love being and what you love doing.

At some point during their time at Rhodes, students are going to dislike something about the college—the massive amount of work, the social scene, the food, and even the weather. But overall, most students are very satisfied with their decision to attend Rhodes. The College’s sincere dedication to knowledge and integrity can’t be found anywhere else. Rhodes provides a truly unique college experience for anyone who chooses to become a part of its community.
