Career Pathways finds many ways to help students pay for school in either tution, books, or gas.

I wish that the campus's located in other counties didn't have to do the virtual classes. The connections are bad and we can barely communicate with the teacher and him/her us.

I have learned a great amount since attending this school. I am a psychology major however they do not offer as many classes on that subject as i would like. The classes they do offer were very informative and I greatly enjoyed the learning experience. Classes that I have taken and never thought I would enjoy were however found to be very informative and enjoyable.

The professors are very passionate about the subject that they teach which makes it easier for most to learn. Most teachers are happy to take a few minutes and answer a question for a student who may be having trouble with an aspect of the lesson, and this is great.

The campus resources are great. The students have easy access to computers, internet, printers, and copiers. It is made very convenient and easily accessible to students to do research and or print assignments. There is nothing that could be changed to make this aspect of my school better.

I was nervous at first, about taking online courses cause everyone says they are too hard and too much work. But i on the other hand, love it! Probably helps that im already used to working at my fast pace and getting stuff done and pretty much teaching my self. Others dont know how to discipline themselves enough, but i do!

That i am not sure of, since i haven't graduated there yet. But from seeing other people graduate, they have done fairly well! They have jobs that pertain to their career. For example; My mother that graduated from the college i go to, she graduated with her degree and is now working the financial aid assistant and testing coordinator.

I'm working on my general studies right now, til I transfer to a college that has fine art or graphic design. So far its been what I expected, like high school all over again but college level. I have had to take several electives that are just plain wack, but they count towards the 30 hours of electives I need. The workload is pretty intensive, lots of assignments, tests and several written assignments but its not too bad.

The curriculum is great, its hard on some levels but overall it is quite easy. You can definitely teach yourself the math and online classes, with the help of books, and the professors help. The professors are great, they try their very best to get to know you and help you with any questions. The registration process is very easy compared to others. Workload is average. The only thing they need to do, is get more art programs, and graphic design classes available. Also put math, science, and social studies courses online.

This is the smallest community college in Arkansas, so their resources are understandably limited. I am aware of a massive building project starting in 2013 which is supposed to update the student center, bookstore, library, and provide a multipurpose convention center on campus; so the facilities will be improved. Even though there is no fitness center on campus, there is a fitness center across the street which provides discounts to students if they show their student ID.

Student to Teacher ratio is very good. Being a small school, it is easy to get the help you need if you ask. There are plenty of opportunities for tutoring, career assistance, financial aid, etc. The students here really can be spoiled by the friendly and helpful staff!

If your not in a class or involved with some of the students a lot of them won't go out of their way to talk to you. They aren't rude or anything, but not super outgoing. A few of them are though. Some people are young and married and or pregnant.

Online Classes – The first time that I took an online class I was really scared. I didn't know what I was to do. If you were having a problem with some of you school work there wasn't someone to help with it. Sometimes having a teacher to show you want you need to do helps. But all in all I did like being able to do my class when I wanted to.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I didn't know that by getting an Applied Science Degree that I would lose the Arkansas Challenge Scholaship if I continued going to Rich Mountain Community College. I wanted to continue going to Rich Mountain Community College to get my Practical Nurses License. With gas prices being so high and college tuition being more than I could afford I wanted to stay there. I don't qualify for the pell grant, too many college hours. Every little bit of finanical will help.

Career Center Undecided – I'm not sure about the career center or helping you to find a job. I am a CNA working for a nursing home. The college was really supportive in helping me get enrolled into college and helping me to get my Va started, so I could afford my classes. I am now enrolled into the LPN program. I haven't tried to find a job through them as of yet.

Career Center Helpful – They are very helpful, but in a rural area like mena, its hard to help that much. Plus I havent used it that much to really give it a grade.

Great School, Great People! RMCC is a great school, its very small, but in a way that is a great thing for some students. I have attended this school since high school, and LOVE IT! They help so much with everything! Tutoring, financial aide, everything is so easy! I would recommend this school to everyone for your first two years of school!

The majority of the people that attend my school have full-time jobs and fmailies. Everyone is friendly and sociable with each other. They work in a social life in witht their very busy schedules.
