Though it did take time to get the financial aid I needed, I did get it and received many good quality scholarships. Financial aid here is extremely good.

I received a really nice academic scholarship from Ripon - one of the ones you have to compete for, but repeats all four years you attend. The most frustrating aspect of financial aid for me was that even as tuition continues to rise, my scholarship remains the same amount it was when I got it two years ago. I guess this is understandable - the freshmen now are paying higher tuition rates than I was two years ago, so it makes sense that their scholarships will be higher. It's still frustrating, though.

Could Have Been Better – Almost everyone here is on scholarships and loans, however they do not attempt to explain to you how this affects your financial future. Scholarships are a good part of of your financial aid, but only cover so much. You almost never have enough to pay for other essentials such as books for your classes. Do not look for a free ride here.

I had a very simple time filling out a few forms for financial aid. Many things were looked at without forms also and information from the application was used.

The Financial Aid office is very easy to work with. Students fill out applications regarding both their family's and their personal income. The best tip I can give is to simply be honest. If a student's family is struggling financially the Financial Aid office will accommodate with the student to help him or her the most they can in order for him or her to attend college.
