Welcoming Students

There is a mix of students like any school. Although this is a declared Christian school, they definitely don't try to push their beliefs on you, which is very nice. Most students are friendly and reach out. It's like a big family.

Social Scene

There are dances (mixers), movie nights, and other social events sponsored by various school departments. The events are chaperoned. The various intramural and varsity sports events take place throughout the year, and a wide array of students attend. The drama department puts on plays on a recurring basis.

Hookups or Relationships?

While dating certainly takes place on campus, there is a strict campus prohibition on any sort of premarital sex and/or "hooking-up" as such. Many students are quite serious in their faith standards, and some may not be interested in the "hook-up" scene or "serious" dating at all.

Dress Code

Rochester College has a dress code for men and women. Revealing clothing, such as short skirts/shorts, bare-chested men (in public), and low-cut tops on women are not allowed.
