Not Close Enough

The most important buildings for class are in one main cluster. There are very few where we have to travel down to the lower part of the campus. That aside, I think that the parking spots are a lot farther away from the building the necessary. They have a lot of handicapped spots and employee parking spaces that never get filled.

The Parking Is Not Vast

If you are an on-campus student, there is a sizable parking lot on campus. For visitors and commuter students, the parking lot is much smaller. Both residential and commuter students will need a permit-- it is "free" but possibly there may be a hidden cost in tuition. Problems in parking are addressed by Oakland County's sheriff's office. Reportedly, violations in parking will result in tickets and tows. Getting around in the broader community is so-so without a car. You basically need a car or friends with a car.

Parking

Parking is close to the front door of my campus since I attend the CEL center. The main campus parking also seems to be convenient.
