My university is very small, only 3,000 students, therefore our athletics are lacking. We do not have a football team like most colleges, but we do shift our attention to soccer. Our soccer teams do well as well as our volleyball team. We have a tennis team, basketball, softball, and baseball.

We dont have football. But we have soccer, the real football.

Spirited Few Prove Contagious During Post-Seasons – The facilities are incredible (multiple gyms, weight rooms, well-kept fields, racquet ball courts). However, as a small campus community that is NCAA Division 2, there is not an overwhelming amount of school spirit at games. It is there if you are interested. And for those interested, specifically in the soccer team, the fans are incredible! Students traveled from Missouri to Pennsylvania by car in one weekend just to cheer on the Hawks at the Elite 8.

Both Regular and Intramural Sports – While we are not known for our sports the fan support and spirit is good. The teams work hard throughout the year. Many of the facilities seem to be fair. However we do not have a football team which disapoints many football fans. Intramurals are quite fun and many people come to watch. while this is not actually a college sports team, it allows people to get outside and have a semicompetitive game as well as exercise. It is one of the highlights of the year. Obverall the school seems to enjoy watching the teams and enjoying the nice weather.

Just Want to Play – The percentage of students at Rockhurst who are athletes is high. They attend Rockhurst because they will be able to play their sport and get a good education. As far as winning goes, Rockhurst is never very good, and there is little fan support.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
