College Prowler Take
It’s common to hear tales of former students busted for drugs, and many current students have had to face Campus Safety for one reason or another, but in general, Rollins police aren’t known for being strict. Rollins isn’t a dry campus, so those of age can booze freely, and even those under 21 should have little trouble consuming alcohol on campus without consequence. If a Campus Safety officer catches an offender, generally the only result will be wasted alcohol. At times, officers will be in the mood to evoke punishment in the form of a write-up that can issue only a warning or, more rarely, when the crime is severe enough, probation.
Though Campus Safety is lenient on punishment, they love to break up parties. Lately, weekend parties seem to get broken up just when they start getting exciting. When things get too loud, Safety steps in to scatter students, rarely punishing them, but nonetheless destroying the party. Drug busts, on the other hand, are very rare, but in this instance, punishment is severe. Being expelled is a serious possibility for those unfortunate enough to get caught.

Drugs are a significant offense on campus. If caught, there are severe consequences. Underage drinking isn’t as bad, but there are some penalties for that, as well. It really depends, I guess. |

In the past year, Rollins has really cracked down with a ton of "write-ups." Usually if you're at a party—very few don't get broken up—you get can out of trouble, but if campus security finds alcohol or drugs in your room, you will definitely be in trouble.
