The food in Orlando is delicious!! I always had trouble finding good Chinese food though. :(

Students often prefer not to get a meal plan at Rollins because of the abundance of restaurants on Park Avenue. Whatever you are craving, you are guaranteed to find it. There are many nice restaurants that students go to for dinner and drinks with friends. Steakhouses, sushi places, Thai food—you name it! A lot of the restaurants on Park Avenue are pricey, since Winter Park is a wealthy and mostly upper-class town.

Although there are a lot of upscale dining options, there are also a variety of fast food-type restaurants, as well. A popular attraction among Rollins folk is the Power House Café, where students can grab a smoothie or a bite to eat in between classes. There is also the Pita Pit, Tropical Smoothie Café, Starbucks, and more. Frozen yogurt is a popular treat among Florida residents, and there are several different frozen yogurt shops around campus. Most of the restaurants near Rollins get crowded on the weekends. It is always a good idea to plan ahead and make a reservation. Honestly, Park Avenue has everything you could ever desire and more; however, students who have cars can also venture farther away from school and into Orlando for even more options.
