There are no equipment for the students to use. Everyone has to bring their own technology and there isn't much of a tech department.
College Freshman 2013-11-09T22:15:45Z
All the students get away with everything. It's almost as if there are no rules against anything here. At least, none that are enforced.

Guys & Girls:
The people here are very very obnoxious
College Freshman 2013-11-09T22:11:18Z
The athletics here are stellar. Everyone loves the athletes, they are treated like professions, despite only being a D3 school. However the gym equipment is poorly maintained and not up to date in the slightest.
College Freshman 2013-11-09T22:04:40Z
I truly enjoy the weather in the Philadelphian suburbs
College Freshman 2013-11-09T22:04:05Z
There isn't a Greek Life on campus
College Freshman 2013-11-09T21:59:41Z
Because of its proximity to bigger campuses, Rosemont students are exposed to a nice variety of restaurants to cater to any appetite.
College Freshman 2013-11-09T21:56:54Z
No student at Rosemont has off campus housing. Your options are to live on campus or commute while living with your parents.
College Freshman 2013-11-09T21:55:42Z
There's nothing good about the dorms here at Rosemont. One was even shut down for an asbestos threat.
College Freshman 2013-11-09T21:52:58Z
The food at Rosemont is not very good. It's poorly prepared, there is nothing healthy there are maybe one or two vegetarian options but nothing that caters to any other needs
College Freshman 2013-11-09T21:51:02Z
The parking is good because although everyone is allowed to have a car on campus, mostly faculty use the parking
College Freshman 2013-11-09T21:48:25Z
It's very miserable here. Everyone knows everything about everyone, there's no privacy anywhere. There is hardly any protection, if you're local, it's easier to just go home. There are barely any clubs or societies to entertain anyone. If you don't play or support a sport, you stand alone.
College Freshman 2013-11-09T21:42:53Z
Health & Safety:
the health center is adequate but there is little to no public safety around.
College Freshman 2013-11-09T21:30:26Z
Despite being set in a beautiful suburban area, being at Rosemont is like being isolated from the rest of the world
College Freshman 2013-11-09T21:24:52Z
The school offers a very attractive to incoming freshmen, but quickly decreases as you progress through the years, so much so that by senior year you're entirely on your own.
College Freshman 2013-11-09T21:23:44Z
My school has no student life. If you are not a part of one of the D3 sports teams, you will not have a good time here. Despite being architecturally attractive, the facilities are very poor and not up to date. With the exception of one or two buildings, it isn't very modern. There is only one computer lab, and it is only open to the students with declared science majors
College Freshman 2013-09-06T12:24:06Z
There are a number of events held on campus, but also events held on the main line. Every Saturday there's a farmer's market a good walk from the school, there are a variety of different dining options, a comic shop, a movie theater, and you can easily hop on the train and head to Philly. Not to mention the campus is within walking distance of Villanova and is close by to a number of different colleges like St. Joe's. The only issue is that you have to go out and find these things to do; they aren't just thrown in your lap.

The only reason why I am happy with being a biology major is because I know what I want to do in my life and I am highly motivated; however, I wish the professors in the biology department were more encouraging and helpful.

Health & Safety:
There was never a time where I felt unsafe at Rosemont.
College Sophomore 2013-08-18T22:18:18Z
Rosemont College is in a small, quiet town of Bryn Mawr, PA. Center city Philadelphia is only 11 miles away from my school and the city is beautiful. There are a lot of things to do like shopping or visit amazing museums.
College Sophomore 2013-08-18T22:12:37Z
I don't live on campus, but my friends that do live on campus tells me that it is pretty strict when it comes to drugs and alcohol. If someone get caught with drugs or alcohol, they will be kicked out of the school. My school is all about academics so I believe they are serious when it comes to something that will get in your way of being academically successful.
College Senior 2013-07-31T19:55:19Z
The campus housing is very overpriced and the facilities are not up to par.
College Senior 2013-07-31T19:54:18Z
If you get there early enough you can find parking, otherwise may have to drive around a little bit!
College Junior 2013-07-08T03:05:55Z
The accessibility to the computers and printers is excellent at my school.
College Sophomore 2013-01-16T00:11:21Z
Rosemont College is a college all about academics. It's a small college with less distraction and more concentration on your purpose for attending college. I've received a lot of help from the Student Academic Support Center (SASC). You get to know your professors and build a relationship with them. The professor are understanding and encouraging.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
