| Advice on Finding a Job/Internship | |
If you are serious about obtaining a job after graduation or an internship for either winter break or the summer, students at Rutgers have to take the first initiative. From the beginning of the fall semester, become acquainted with Career Services, whether it be just visiting their Web page, or actually visiting one of the two buildings on the College Avenue campus or Cook/Douglass campus. Career Services will not come to you; you must read your Eden e-mail, and check to see if the weekly dean e-mails say any important information about Career Services. Rutgers has many services designed to help students; you just have to be independent and seek them out for yourself. Lastly, it’s best to follow the yearly career action steps listed on the Career Services Web site.
