Must Fight for Aid

Although I received a very useful scholarship, I did not receive the work study that I originally qualified for because they wanted me to work off-campus in a far away town. I did not have a car on campus, but they refused to provide me with alternatives and I lost out on aid.

Overall a Smooth Process

The amount of financial aid received was a sufficient amount, but not enough to cover my entire tuition. My best suggestion is to keep in contact with the financial aid office at your school and be patient with them! The assistant's at my college were extremely helpful and kept in contact with me throughout the process. In the end, they were able to lay out my options and ensure that I received the aid I needed.
