Since the classrooms are all in one building, weather is not a large factor. Live-in students don't have to go outside to go to class and clinicals are nearby at the hospital, less than a block-long walk outside.

When lots of students have pre-paperwork to do, it is really hard to find a computer open because the on campus computers have the program that you need to log on to. So be prepared to wait!!

Support at School – One very special and unique quality about Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing is how much everyone is willing to help each other. The teacher will do everything they can to make sure you understand the material and pass their classes. Most of the students are willing to volunteer their free time to help each other out, even if they don't know each other.

Student Library – The library is stocked with every book a nursing student could possibly need. The librarian is excellent with helping the students find what they are looking for as well as giving tips on homework. Some senior students will come to the library to help the juniors with their homework.

The cafeteria is pretty good, but could be bigger. Also, there is couple of food places nearby where you get a discount though. There is a plus in that!!

Dorms Are Reasonable!! Peoria, Illinois's college has reasonable price for dorm especially with our economy right now. The dorm is a small room, but looks very comfy and private. Also, their is a person in charge of very floor in case of any disturbances from students or the public.

Health & Safety:
Very Safe – The security is around just about all of the St. Francis Medical Center. Always keep doors locked even in vehicles to avoid theft or late night pranks.
