Getting a Parking Permit
Faculty and grad students get priority selection for parking permits. Juniors and seniors can get parking passes, but they’re not necessary unless you live in Manayunk. Most upperclassmen undergraduates will get parking passes; they just need to remember to apply online early enough.
College Prowler Take
St. Joe’s has recently started addressing the lack of parking available to students. The school has stopped letting sophomores apply for parking passes, which has freed up spots for upperclassmen who live off campus. There is also a new parking garage and a new parking lot behind the new buildings. While neighbors were initially very hostile to the students in the new buildings, the school provided more parking for students in the buildings’ lot so they wouldn’t have to park in front of people’s houses. The Maguire Campus will no doubt help to continue improving the parking situation.
While St. Joe’s is actively working to improve the parking situation, it is far from being done. It’s relatively impossible to show up to campus during the middle of the day and stumble upon a spot in the first lot you pull into. Security guards have recently started cracking down on un-decaled cars in lots. Students living in the new buildings, Merion Gardens, and townhouses have the advantage of their own parking lots. Parking around campus on the streets is safe during the day and somewhat easy to find. At night, parking on the street can be a little risky the farther you get from campus, but there is almost always free parking to be had day and night around campus.

Gooooood Luck!!

Once everyone gets into town, on-street parking is near about impossible. SJU recently finished its parking garage, only to get rid of a parking lot on campus in favor of turning it into a lawn that no one really ever uses.

It's fair once your a Junior and a senior, you can apply and get on campus parking pass. Underclassman have to park on the side streets and there's never a spot and your care can get broken into.

Parking Is Nonexistant for Freshmen and Only Partially Available to Upperclassmen

If you live in the Townhouses or Merion Gardens, you'll have a parking spot. People who live in Borgia and Rashford usually get a spot but it's a lottery system. Don't plan on parking on campus since they are pretty strict with who they give permits too and parking on the street is hit or miss. The shuttles are really the way to go and with all the public transportation available a car is really not necessary

Not a lot of parking
C
There is not a lot room to park a car. Permits are pretty expensive. And if you do have a permit, it is hard to find a parking spot.

The Boot!
The number of tickets that earns you a boot is widely kept a secret, but some students have gotten as many as 15 and others as few as two. The more atrocious parking offenses are taken more seriously.
