Directly across the street from Saint Leo University main campus is the Saint Leo Abbey Golf Course and Tavern, which has happy hour every day from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Yes. Students may enjoy coffee from the Lion's Lair snack shop in the Student Community Center.
"Green" Initiatives
There are a few things that Saint Leo has done in order to go green. They have a recycling program throughout the campus. Students and faculty are able to deposit glass, plastic, paper, and other waste products accordingly. The cafeteria has also stopped giving out styrofoam containers and now uses plastic reusable to-go boxes that are available for any cafeteria-goer.
Traditions
- Leopalooza: During the spring semester Saint Leo hosts a concert on campus with all sorts of events and entertainment.
- Midnight Breakfast: Every semester on the first night of finals the cafeteria opens up and serves food for free to help everyone with their studies.
- Senior and Alumni Night at Ralph's: Alumni Night and Senior Night at Ralph's are two big parties at the local bar. Alumni and professors come to join everyone for fun, food, and drinks.
- Senior Faculty Softball Game: During the last week before graduation the faculty and seniors get kegs and play softball.
- Winter Formal: The Winter Formal dance is a great time to dress up and hang out. Its sponsored by the school, and they pay for mostly everything. It includes a bus ride and a buffet.
Urban Legends
- The first floor in Marmion-Snyder dorms is haunted.
- They are alligators in the lake.
- They perform exorcisms in the grotto.
Favorite Things To Do
Many students enjoy daytime activities, such as the golf course which is free to play for students, sailing and kayaking in Clear Lake, hanging out at the pool, or playing volleyball, tennis, and basketball.
Clubs and Organizations on Campus
The American Marketing Association is a very active club on campus, and it looks great on your resume.
