Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

There's something for everyone at Saint Leo. On a scale from 1 to 10, both guys and girls range from the bottom to the top. Its all about getting out there and mingling. There are plenty of people who complain "the girls aren't hot," or "all the guys here are jerks," but this is primarily due to the fact that those making these statements are not getting out enough. Also, due to the small size, you will get used to, and maybe even tired of, the same guys and girls. But as the years go by, the freshman classes seem to get progessively more attractive, and each semester will bring new transfers that may catch your eye.

The Florida sunshine tends to help when it comes to the opposite sex. Girls walk around the majoirty of the time in flip-flops and sundresses. Some guys are more motivated to hit the gym so they can show off at the pool. Either way, everyone has the option to be tan.

At Saint Leo University you will find a diverse population of races and ethnicities. Everybody is friendly in our little on campus community, and there a plenty of people to get along with.

Quite a Diverse Crowd

You name it, we got it. God made us all and we all gather here at St. Leo. We get a long. There is a great liberal artsy feel so it is a very laid back and relaxed environment.

Social Scene

Everyone finds their niche at SLU. The majority of students live on campus and have the option to hang out there. There are plenty of parties going on in the Sweetwater apartments down the road too. Most students that live off campus live there. Every weekend there are usually house parties somewhere. Heading downtown to Tampa is always a good idea as well.

Hookups or Relationships?

It's college, and you will have your fair share of random hookups. Relationships aren't always a good idea in any college, especially at a small school like SLU, because if it doesn't work out you are most likely going to see them around whether you want to or not.

Dress Code

With all the diversity, the only constant dress code at SLU is flip-flops.
