The security services are good for what the do. Nothing too big really happens that would necessitate too much security. For the most part, the security guards have a pretty cushy job. There have been instances of locals coming onto campus and causing some sort of issue, but these usually get resolved. There is only one real entrance onto the campus, so not too much security is even needed. The most you will ever see the security guards get involved with anything is about the parking issue.

The health services are also decent. They provide flu shots and so forth from the nurse's office. One interesting concern is that they do not provide sexual protection such as condoms. Other than that, you can really go to them for just about anything. It would be wise to have a physician in the area just in case, though.

Impossibly Safe

The campus securtiy is a warm and friendly group that know what they're doing. There haven't been any problems to my knowledge and there are little boxes that have a blue glowing button that someone in danger can press incase of an emergency. All in all, I feel safe. Especially since we're out in the middle of nowhere with no one to really bother us.

Real Safe

There are cameras and security that walk the campus all the time and there are special phone type booths in the parking lots in case of an emergency.

Very Safe

At Saint Leo University, the campus is very safe during the day and at night. I am able to walk alone without a problem. The only thing I have to do is lock my door so no thieves steal my most valuable possessions.
