Did You Know?
SLU Department of Public Safety (DPS) has an emergency taxi service, so that even if you run out of money while off campus, you won't be stranded in an emergency. Students only need to find the nearest phone and call DPS (they will accept collect charges), and the University sends a taxi to come pick you up. The taxi drops you off at the DPS office, where you sign a request form, and the charge for the taxi will later be billed to your student account.
