There are a variety of off-campus housing options for juniors and seniors. Because freshmen and sophomores are required to live on campus, most students move off campus for their last two years. The most popular off-campus apartments are directly across the street from campus, but they are privately owned. Although there are plenty of options, all of the best apartments (two and three bedrooms are the most desirable) generally fill in November for leases starting in May and August of the following year.

All of the apartments close to campus are expensive, but they are still more affordable than on-campus housing. Although apartments two to three blocks away from campus are much cheaper, students are willing to pay the higher price to stay close to campus. The apartments directly off campus generally include utilities, cable, and Internet with the rent price, which is much more convenient than organizing it all on your own. Most of the apartments have been renovated within the past 10 years, and the landlords also offer facility perks that include the free use of exercise rooms, pools, and entertainment rooms.
