I feel financial aid assistance at my school is pretty average from my experiences. But it did receive some scholarships for having good grades in high school and I received some extra scholarships my sophomore year of college because my freshman year I had an above average GPA.

Many scholarships are given to incoming freshmen, but its harder to get scholarships as a sophomore, junior, or senior!

The financial aid office is amazing, and very approachable, if you need any help getting documents or turning something in, they will help you and explain everything! Of course, they request a lot of documents for financial aid, but it is worth it, since they do give out many scholarship and grants for those who need it.

They are pretty good about offering scholarships to incoming students, but are very particular about required GPA. They only check your GPA in the spring, so even if you were fine in the fall semester and drop a little in the spring semester, they take away your scholarship until you get it back up. They do not have any kind of probationary period which is a little annoying. I think they should at least give you a semester to get your GPA back up and if you don't then they could take it away. If they allow that from fall to spring semester, I don't see why they won't allow that from spring to the following fall.

I recieved a good amount of financial aid from Saint Mary's college. Make sure you stay on top of things, in order to make sure all your outside scholarships are counted.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
