It is a college, not a hotel.

It is a good school, academically, but everyone has their own opinion.
College Freshman 2013-11-05T22:20:13Z
The new student center is very nice and accommodating.
College Freshman 2013-11-05T22:18:13Z
The campus strictness is too strict with certain areas but it is a Jesuit university after all.
College Freshman 2013-11-05T22:16:43Z
Very old freshman dorms. Wifi is really bad.
College Freshman 2013-11-05T22:15:40Z
It has enough diversity but you need an acquire attitude to handle coming here
College Freshman 2013-11-05T22:14:26Z

Many advisors are good to deal with but they do not notify you if your loans or grants are not processing.

THe program I am in expect alot. Alot of work, clinical hours and class time. The program i am in is a close knit family since we basically have evry class together and the same teachers for diffrent subjects.
College Senior 2013-10-11T21:29:51Z
the freshmen dorms are diffrent form upperclassman dorms. ofcourse with the upperclassman you get to choose if you want to live in the newer, better apartments. the freshmen dorms somewhat remind me of a jail cell.
College Senior 2013-10-11T21:27:14Z
it snows alot and when class are cancelled, almost half of the day is already gone anyways so there is no point. might as well continue on a full day. but when the whether is nice, there are always activities on the new student center building.
College Senior 2013-10-11T21:25:34Z
The parking lot are horrendous. It is very inconvenient since there are never any available. The plus side is there are a lot of apartments available in the vicinity. it easy to get to the campus and with the shuttle running for 24hours, getting there shouldnt be a problemAlso, SPU is fairly close to the pathtrain to new york which is a a plus.
College Freshman 2013-09-14T03:33:46Z
My professors are very clear on what they expect of me. They are not over bearing, and continuously offer their help if I need it. I'm very pleased with the professors I have.
College Freshman 2013-09-14T03:30:36Z
My son lives in the dorms which in his case is a 3 bedroom apartment 2 people per bedroom, it has a spacious kitchen with a stove and full size fridge. All you need is is food, pots, and personal belongings to feel at home

Health & Safety:
The area surrounding the college is not great but there is security in front of every dorm. The upper class mans dorm are less secure, but police do patrol the area.

The school has a very strict academic and behavior code, but it is my opinion that it is not properly enforced. Students caught selling drugs, drinking underage or doing any other illegal activity rarely receive the "punishment" like expulsion or police involvement that the Code deems appropriate. Repercussions tend to be a slap on the wrist or alcohol "class" which is a program on the computer, once.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
