Is there lots of opportunities to get a student involved with other students of the same major?

There are several ways to get involved with people of the same major. During the first week or so there is generally a mixer where you can meet people of your same major. There are also associations and societies designed to give the student an opportunity to meet professionals in the field they are studying and begin to network. There are also "meet your major" nights in the respective colleges. Hope this helps.
