Greek Life is amazing! People who are not part of Greek Life think it is only about partying which is not true. You have to experience it yourself to understand it. I recommend that everyone who even thinks they may be interested in Greek Life to RUSH. Meet the people in Greek Life before forming an opinion.

Is there a large time commitment to sororities? Don't they cost alot as well?
It's about 4-8 hours a week time commitment depending on how involved you get. The cost depends on the sorority. It is an extra expense but a lot of people work p.t. jobs to be able to afford it or just budget the cost into other school expenses like books, etc.
Are there alot of non-greek friendly people? Im coming to sdsu from florida and wont know anyone, and dont want to be in greeklife. Kindof worried about meeting people and making friends?
You can make friends as long as you are outgoing & friendly. Most people form their circle of friends within the first week of school with people they meet in their dorm. Also, there are a lot of organizations & clubs to join so find something that interests you and then you'll end up meeting people you have things in common with.
