In the begining many students may be saddened and lonely throughout their first year at San Francisco State, as it may seem hard to find the right social group outright. But when it is finally time to leave the tears are sure to come flowing. Because there is so much one can explore and experience within the seven-mile stretch of San Francisco that yeilds much more than what others offer in man more miles. The trendy piercing/tattoo shops of Haight Street, the tourism of Powell, the swell relaxation and jogging atmosphere of Embarcadero. They all comine to create an experience unlike any other city. The majority of students would still choose going to SFSU rather than transfer, or go to another school, manly due to the culture of the city.
