I chose this school because of good reviews. A lot of people had found jobs after coming here. Some of those people I know and now they are successful. That's want I want my future to be.

There are a lot of resources available to the students. They offer access to a ride share program and information for child care programs. On campus there are quite a few clubs that help to make the students feel connected. There is a diversity club, and an honor society, both of which will also look great on a resume for after graduation.

The student center and library on campus are really great! There are tons of computers, a printer and copier available for students to use. There is always someone there to assist if a student has a question. The only reason it doesn't get an A+ is that the computers are a little slow.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I believe that the tuition is more than reasonable, I believe that you get what you pay for. Nevertheless financial is offered, if you qualify it is very helpful due to books being so high depending on the courses you are taking.

This is my first semester at Modesto City College, however my experience has been rather enlightening. The students on campus are very helpful, the staff is amazing and I love that the school very diverse. So far the class mates that I have met are juggling jobs and families and still maintaining to commit to furthering their education.

Very Hands on – Our classes are very hands on. We learn everything needed for medical if you are doing medical and criminal justice if you want to go into that field of work. Every week we have a quiz to test how much we are retaining and where we need help, the labs are always clean and well stocked for us to do injections, venipunctures, or even ECGs. The workload is more than you would expect from a junior college only because we are finishing a two-year program in as little as fourteen months. So don't slack on your work, it would hurt your grade badly.

Smaller Classes Make the Difference – With the smaller classes we have in our school we get more help from the instructors and more hands on experience. The teachers are always able to help the students understand what they are not getting more since we can easily slow down so that the teacher could help their needs. We are all treated like professionals and all of the instructors end up knowing your name as well as being able to call us when we don't come in to make sure that everything is okay at home.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Amazing School – The experience that I am having at this school is one of the best you can get from a junior college. It is a private junior college so you're paying more than you would at a normal jc.The classes are smaller which helps, and the financial aid office is always helping with finiding ways to pay for school with cal grants and scholarships. Be sure to bring your W-2, Tax return information, and have your fafsa filled out ahead of time.

What to say about them. They are always there for help, their door is always open if you have a question or need your resume looked over. SJVC's career service has the best workers ever they always do their best to help find jobs or externships for us.

Online Course the Same as in Class – The online courses are the same as going to class except you do it at your own leisure. The online classes are the best if you have a hectic schedule or if you have an unpredictable work schedule.

SJVC in Modesto has some of the best teachers ever, and all of our courses are transferable to CSU's. I have met people that go to other schools that are doing the same program as me that aren't having as great of an experience. Career Services is always there to help students and previous students find jobs. I would recommend this school if you like faster paced classes. We finish a class in as little as five weeks, but during those five weeks they are very thorough.

No online courses available and I wouldn't want to try to learn massage in an online course.

Great Classes Here – The school has a great program for Massage Therapy and I am learning so much. I especially like the fact that I can get my Associate of Science degree as opposed to just receiving my certification. This gives me the opportunity to show employers that I am very serious about my career choice and took the extra time to learn as much as I possibly could.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
