Tuition & Financial Aid:
I would give an A+ but I'm in the middle of a snafu with my FA department as I was given a 'maybe this will happen' senario about a year ago and then I heard nothing and now I don't have funds to finish school anyhow. Trying to stay positive and apply for scholarships to finish and the FA department is seeing what they can do... but there may be no hope in the end. I wish it had been explained more fully all along the way.

I haven't used this particular service, but from what I have used... I feel prepared.

If diversity is the goal, the Sanford-Brown has it. When I first started at theis particular branch it wasn't so diverse because it was all county people attending. It wasn't long before a major branch in the city decided to close its doors and everyone from there decided to go to my branch. So now we are VERY diverse.

Ok I Guess – is a ok college, transportion is to far but the city bus do go out there, I feel they should have a campus not only within city limits, and in the county area as will

Relative to Text Book – I took two classes on line and I did not open either book once for assiments or tests. The material in the books was nothing like what the teacher were talking about, it was if I didnt need the books.

Class Sizes – The class sizes were to large for the lab classes. I had over 30 people in my hemotolagy class and the room was set up to hold about 15. Working in those kinds of conditions with needles made me and a lot of others very uncomfortable.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Veterinarian Technician – Financial aid office is always open for questions. They offer lots of assistance and are straigt foreward. They even come into classrooms at the beggining of a course to give a presentation. They are very considerate of students need and really push students to get their monies worth in class. The continually stress the high cost of learning and that it should not be wasted. Sanford-Brown price for this course was less expensive then others in close vecinity.

Veterinarian Technician – I went to three schools before I elected to attend this one. The biggest factor for my decision was the flexible hours, school felt safe and the wonderful instructors that understand the busy lives of adults returning to school.

Veterinarian Technician – I do not take any courses on line because of the nature of class.

Veterinarian Technician – Few students are tacking Veterinarian courses in this school, most are there for medical assistant, coding or radiology. Since I just started, I am currently taking general education classes. The workload is not so much heavy as it is alot compressed in a short amount of time. The school offers a tremendous amoount of help to students with little resources. The carreer department is constantly updating its job listings and holding job fairs in the school. The school has alot to offer to those that search for it.

Resources on Campus – The resources my college offers are very good. A few examples are tutoring, counseling, job fairs, resumes, and a learning center with access to computers and library.

My Academic Experiences – I have mostly had very good experiences with all my instructors. They are very helpful and are happy to try and answer my questions. The instructors offer excellent accessability by giving students their phone numbers and e-mails. I do wish our classes lasted longer than five week terms, we cover enormous amount of material over a short period of time.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Continuing Education Student – I like the small school atmosphere. I do think that education is worth the money I have borrowed to attend. I like the free tutoring and help finding a job after you graduate that my school offers. The financial aid employees are very helpful and ready to answer my questions. I learned what a stripened request is and now know it is important to fill it out correctly!

Everything I needed to get going with classes was great, I had classes transfer, I was able to work around my class schedule, the only negative thing was I did not recieve the entire amount of money I was needing from financial aid so I ended up having to make monthly payments.

I am in the polysomnography program which is a brand new program to this school. This program is very rare so it is a big deal when myself and my classmates graduate. This is a great program and my director really shows that he cares about this program and wants us to strive to do well.

Sanford Brown College – I love my school so far. They have been nothing but helpful and very concerned about my doing well in school. Past colleges were not like this at all and only cared about the check they were getting every month. I do feel that I can succeed at this school and my teachers help me to do so.

Great Help – The staff in career services is very knowledgeable and has been extremely helpful in helping me find-part time work. I have also heard first hand that they have been very helpful in helping past graduates find employment when they need help.

A College Student – Most college students have the same things going on, jsut talk to one person on campus and they too have a workload. With going to college, working and doing both full time, plus having a family or living on their own. It gets tough but in the end it is worth it.

Can You Handle It – I took a class online becuase the school I am attending is a far drive. Alot of people say online classes are not for them. I thought that too, but once I took an online class it was greeat I jsut had to put my mind to it and make time for it. You learn time management and dont have any interuptions from other classmates either.

Why I Transferred – I transferred colleges in January of 2011 due to at my previous college I felt that the pace of courses and getting my degree was not going anywhere, I did not feel like I was even acomplishing anything, so thats when I decided to trasnfer to Sanford Brown, it was real easy and the admissions rep helped with everything as well as financial aid rep. Now I finally have a set graduation date that I know I can reach.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
