College Prowler Take
SCU spends huge amounts of money each year to maintain the grounds and facilities, and it shows. The campus is always clean and beautiful, and it seems like the facilities are constantly being upgraded. The equipment in the Malley Fitness Center is top-of-the-line, and the new pool is especially nice. A new addition to the Orradre Library has doubled its size. The computer labs have plenty of machines, and always have an IT staff member on duty. The Bronco bar is a fairly recent addition, and has a variety of brand-new TVs and gaming tables. The dorms seem to be a little behind the rest of the facilities, but the University has begun improving a few of them as well. The sports fields and stadiums are high quality at SCU. Granted, Santa Clara won’t be hosting a bowl game anytime soon, but the soccer field is well maintained, with plenty of seating for students. The basketball arena is quite large, considering the size of the school, and often hosts other events. Also, a new baseball stadium opened across the street from campus to support the growing success of SCU baseball. SCU spares no expense when it comes to facilities.

The school really goes all out to make sure all the facilities are top-notch. That goes for the landscaping, too. The dorms are pretty plain, though. I mean, they’re not bad or anything, but since they spend so much time and money improving the gym and library and stuff, you’d think the dorms would be really nice, too. |

Malley is our gym, and it is incredibly nice. The equipment is all state-of-the-art; there are three basketball courts, a lap swimming pool, and a workout area; a well-kept secret is the saunas in the bathrooms. |

The grounds are very well kept. Almost too well kept, because you never see anyone actually working on them. It’s spooky. Like they have this whole squad of ninja gardeners who somehow mow the lawns in complete silence at 4 a.m. or something. |

Our stadiums are all really good. All we need is some good sports teams to go with them, and we’d be set. |

The cafeteria is pretty good. It’s a really small campus, but it has pretty much everything you would need. |
